Eyes Down For Nonfarm Payrolls By Neil Wilson - Sep 03, 2021 1

A decline in US weekly jobless claims to their lowest level since the pandemic began was greeted by new record highs on Wall Street. To be fair, just about anything is greeted by a new all–time...

Markets Calm Ahead Of ADP & OPEC By Ipek Ozkardeskaya - Sep 01, 2021 1

Big news of the day is the S&P 500 and Nasdaq didn’t renew record yesterday. But the US equities still recorded their seventh straight monthly advance in August, which is the strongest winning streak...

Stocks Start Firm, Oil Eases Back A Touch By Neil Wilson - Aug 25, 2021 1

It’s a pretty flat though mildly positive start to trade in Europe again after a decent handover from Asia, whilst Wall Street again registered fresh all-time highs. The S&P 500 hit a record closing...

Can't quite believe the price action into close - looks like yet another green day for the US tomorrow. Its crazy. I've been in big underwater shorts before this year many a time and have generally been OK but.... I think this may turn into one of those I need to trade my way out of rather than just wait and take my profit. TT

Amar at the address in the original post...BTW we're off to the Ivy afterwards courtesy of Ben. I see you've had a tough day at the office...remember you've been riding high for the last week or so on the back of your new found scalp trades...just try not to give back too much. Took some heat myself yesterday on the Dow ... so annoying to take the medicine only for it to immediately heal all by itself.

I've been off for yesterdY and today...needed a small break..back on full time in the morning...I don't now if you guys trade divergences but overbought 4 hrs chart divergences don't happen very often as I'm sure you're aware..if the ftse can have a spike to 2260-70 ish then a divergence on the 4 hr will certainly be forming and I will certainly be increasing my short position substantially..anyway GL everyone

Just sitting on my positions at the moment.bad data again today and poor earnings.Pound softening in the last half hour which is why the uptick.I can't see this week going by without a big red day so...Just waiting for that.Markets feel extra weird at the moment. Even more so than usual this past week or so. Am a little cautious as could either be a big drop or bit of a spike. Gut says down but am a little trepidatious. May change my tp here to 7150.

The only thing keeping the FTSE floating high is the oil even Brent dropped back below 85$ depends on the whims of the Saudis if Newcastle Utd FC win they might  stabilise the price but I think they are looking for expensive players so might be a while.
