Comment Guidelines

We encourage you to use comments to engage with users, share your perspective and ask questions of authors and each other. However, in order to maintain the high level of discourse we’ve all come to value and expect, please keep the following criteria in mind:

  • Enrich the conversation
  • Stay focused and on track. Only post material that’s relevant to the topic being discussed.
  • Be respectful. Even negative opinions can be framed positively and diplomatically.
  •  Use standard writing style. Include punctuation and upper and lower cases.
  • NOTE: Spam and/or promotional messages and links within a comment will be removed
  • Avoid profanity, slander or personal attacks directed at an author or another user.
  • Don’t Monopolize the Conversation. We appreciate passion and conviction, but we also believe strongly in giving everyone a chance to air their thoughts. Therefore, in addition to civil interaction, we expect commenters to offer their opinions succinctly and thoughtfully, but not so repeatedly that others are annoyed or offended. hi all, I'm new to this thread. I've sold off everything yesterday. I sense a lot of fear is taking hold and this can only lead to one thing. Look at the chart on max, my view is it's about to nose dive back down to 7000 when the big boys pull the rug.

Day 4 update. Made another 10% today. Started off well on the Nikkei and the FTSE. Made 2/3rds of my ideal 10%. Struggled a little this afternoon on the FTSE dropping and was back to 1/3rd of the 10% up - couldn’t quite read it. Took a break which I am now more willing to do. Came back later on the US markets (Nasdaq 100, Tesla, Nvidia) and got to the 10%. So that is 4 days out of 4 getting a 10% return or more on the aggressive strategy. Up (on this small side portfolio) by 50.3% in 4 days.

FWIW, 15 decently up trades, 3 trades technically up but in reality neutral, 1x dividend collection on the FTSE at close, 4 trades decently down.

hi, I think further to this is insufficient sources of knowledge and not taking action on red flags, instead hoping things will miraculously turn around after.
