Comment Guidelines

We encourage you to use comments to engage with users, share your perspective and ask questions of authors and each other. However, in order to maintain the high level of discourse we’ve all come to value and expect, please keep the following criteria in mind:

  • Enrich the conversation
  • Stay focused and on track. Only post material that’s relevant to the topic being discussed.
  • Be respectful. Even negative opinions can be framed positively and diplomatically.
  •  Use standard writing style. Include punctuation and upper and lower cases.
  • NOTE: Spam and/or promotional messages and links within a comment will be removed
  • Avoid profanity, slander or personal attacks directed at an author or another user.
  • Don’t Monopolize the Conversation. We appreciate passion and conviction, but we also believe strongly in giving everyone a chance to air their thoughts. Therefore, in addition to civil interaction, we expect commenters to offer their opinions succinctly and thoughtfully, but not so repeatedly that others are annoyed or offended. In my view this is a short squeeze. Institutions taking the opportunity to fleece retail. This is an extreme price for the FTSE and the fundamentals don't warrant it (even with the pound being weak). It's always the case at these extremes - people get carried away and call for the move to go even further. I don't think it will. This isn't the Nasdaq. FTSE has a limit. We are surely at the peak now. Shorters just have to hang in there and trim if necessary to survive. The euphoria will fade eventually. Fed aren't going to cut rates this year. Mark my words. Have a good weekend all.

Because you are intolerant of how other people choose to trade, no doubt.

It's all just about the lens you can look through to understand I guess. I jumped back into ftse start of this year, and I remember a couple of comments stating 9000, with loads of down votes. But if your looking at the 6m, 12m tf, that's not a nuts view. I work in quarters, had a nice dither in 1st, now stretch out into the year, and before you know it, it'll be Autumn, and all the narrative will change to the general election and that whole circus.

oof, got the bears by the short and curlies. If you're reading this and looking for a relief pullback, add 500 pips to that area as they are going to shake every coconut out of this tree.

Look at that weekly chart. All fake BOE. Do not play into their games just before war escalation.

GM Uk 100 is enjoying new highs thanks to short covering and hedging by short sellers. This could go on till shorts throw in the towel and flip into longs. I am trading both longs and shorts on pullbacks and extream highs Good Luck
