  • Enrich the conversation
  • Stay focused and on track. Only post material that’s relevant to the topic being discussed.

Don't think budget will have too much of an impact to be honest - it would have leaked already and compared to what else is going on in the world, it's pretty insignificant unless they announce a 50% tax on all business....

morning all, THE most range-bound overnight session for ftse on the spreads while general tone elsewhere was also flat to (asia-inspired) slight softer overall, will be interesting to see where we settle down after initial opening to and fro, have a good day all

Reckon FTSE will hit 7,300 tomorrow and then the bull rally will finally run out of steam for a few days and then turnaround again for the annual santa rally with potential for the FTSE to reach 8,000.Trend is upwards, but plenty of shorting opportunities to be grabbed along the way.

Complete U turn but thats like the UKGOVBank of England interest rate-setter Silvana Tenreyro said she needed more time to judge how the end of the government's job-saving furlough scheme was affecting the labour market, adding to signs that she sees no urgency to raise rates.

yes John, but it's not fair to the market after Bailey's declaration over the interest rate raise. According to his words it sounded like it was pretty sure he would do it. A U turn in 2 weeks is not credible ...
