The gold price drops immediately after Macron, a former Rothschild Banker, urges G-7 nations to SELL Gold. They want to keep the gold prices low before Basel III (28th June 2021). Bullion banks are in a hurry.  (reuters.com/article/g7-summit-macron-africa/frances-macron-calls-for-agreement-on-financial-aid-to-africa-idINFWN2NS105)

I think he may not but it all depends on the NHS covid hospitalisation rates of this new idian covid variant. I live in the uk and it seems like the economy is fully open shoping malls, bars and restrants are packed everybody is out spending money due to the beautiful weather were having so even if he does delay fully opening up the UK economy its still bouching back stronger than most during this pandemic! Go long on the FTSE!!

Holding. Looks like resistance has been punched through. I see blue sky (to 8000 plus) before this year gets much older. To be blunt, I'm not too bothered what a chart may tell me (and never really have been), this a case of arithmetic. Long way to go yet and it will certainly be bumpy. Have a good weekend all and good luck. Great fun.

Looking back, i think i was quite right to predict oil and metals ( copper and Gold) will be big winners for 2021. We are half way through this year and its already coming true, much more to come. Holding big and loong on oil, sold gold a bit early than i should have !!

In reality this is a free discussion board, it can be accessed by any Tom, Von **** Henry, their pets, their wife’s, side chicks and children. X, can have ten accounts posting 15 different opinions, just filter through, no one pot is the same, one’s strategy or trading style does not fit all the other, people should take risks based on their own ability to understand what is happening in the markets not copy others, that’s how grudges begin. We all have the ability to think, it’s a rare gift, let’s use it wisely and hopefully for the betterment of everyone! Ask, and someone might be kind enough to give an answer, look out for ideas, but always verify their sensse and suitability! Enjoy life after all UK’s is minded by someone with initials of BJ… and he is living it high meeting with JB… and for some time the weather is nice!

I'm dubious of anyone who discloses £ per point on a public forum, there is no need, we all operate on a budget (or should do), all share our thoughts and have a chat. After all, it isn't about the size of any position, it's about the timing, therein lies the skill.

David Scott   -  I would add to that David . . . Timing is relatively straight forward, compared to managing the position, once entered.  I agree with your sentiment, however, It can provide encouragement by demonstrating to fellow traders, your own development ( personal and account). With an account of £10k I would have a certain trade size and style, however, if I had a £50k account, I would adjust and trade accordingly.  I think it's great that Miles has shared his account target and he is making good progress to achieve it. Sharing trading styles, provides  good insight and are an education.  Better than asking questions / comments such as " are we going up or down today" . . .  "It can't go up anymore" . . . "It's got to fill the gap" etc. etc.  This is a lonely business and I would love to see more traders encourage each other, by sharing their styles, motivations and aspirations. ,

The top of the upward channel is at 7140 where it has failed twice. I think it will need a strong upward movement in US markets to break this level at the moment or a gap open on Monday after some good news from the G7 meeting
