      • Buy and hold Nicholas. This steep drop seems out of proportion to the situation. It's worse than the initial Covid days.

    • Big -3.8% drop to £3.11. Will buy some more shares soon.

      • Good to see you on here Al Al. I have more history with this one than any other trust. I've just bought more as the recent drop seems to have bottomed out. It seems strange that it doesn't get discussed more bearing in mind it's delivered wonderful results over the years. In recent months it's performed better than ATT.

      • What has performed better than ATT? Which do you prefer ATT or SMT?

      • For me PCT has been the better one overall but I buy and sell that quickly. At the moment stay alive is more important for me (I live in Odessa - due to be taken over soon.) It puts dealing into perspective.

      • can someone comment on exactly what happened here to drop from £29 down to £3 in 2020, of course covid but this a huge drop; funds don't drop like that even in stress senario. what garantee of not a further drop like that? any comments most welcome. thanks

        • It was because of a stock split.A stock split or stock divide increases the number of shares in a company. A stock split causes a decrease of market price of individual shares, not causing a change of total market capitalization of the company. Stock dilution does not occur.

        • Re ATT behind every loud drop is a quiet recovery. I guess it will be back to new highs in 3-4 weeks.

        • I bought more. I've been here before and a bounce normally follows. The "when" is the difficult bit!

      • Glad I bought yesterday. I have learnt that bad news and sharp drops on the markets never last for long. The markets have a very short term memory!
