it's harder to bring back customers you've offended, than to capture them in the first place. Large corporations not being run by accomplished business people anymore, they being run by philosophical ideologists. China are rubbing their hands

I agree with you. The way to do it is to come out with a very strong anti-woke company statement, especially on the run up to Christmas. In this way they will only upset 1% of customers and make 99% happy to return there. Now, I wonder if Target's Management Team have the guts to that? Or are they still scared of being cancelled by the 1%?
