Tanga Cement PLC is a producer of Simba Cement brands in Tanzania. The Company is engaged in the manufacturing, distribution and sale of cement and clinker. Its cement products are used in the construction of houses, schools, roads, bridges, dams, and other essential facilities for local communities. It produces three Simba Cement brands, which include Simba imara-32.5R, Simba barabara-32.5N, and Simba bora-42.5N. Simba imara-32.5R is Portland composite cement with pozzolana and limestone additives. Simba barabara-32.5N is a Portland composite cement specifically for use in road stabilization and is specially formulated to improve the engineering properties of soil. Simba bora-42.5N is Portland limestone cement with limestone additive. It has the capacity to produce more than 1.25 million tons of Simba cement and more than 1.25 million tons of clinker. The Company provides products and services in line with the requirements of its customers.
