  • I work in the property trade and what I've seen is transactions go up from people desperately trying to sell before the prices fall significantly and people can't remortgage. Then you will have people selling because they've fallen into arrears. Then you have the auction houses using Rightmove to maximise interest for their repossessions. all very grim for everyone else but looking positive for Rightmove? Let's see.

      • 25 million homes in the UK, 70% owner occupied. Multiply that number by the average estate agents fee and then factor in RM fee, then by the average years between which the same property is sold on the market. What number do you get so I can check in not missing something!

          • I believe the split each share into 10 because it was doing so well they wanted to make them cheaper.... it looks like a Drop, but it was anything but
