Prithvi Exchange (India) Limited engages in foreign exchange business under the Prithvi Exchange brand name in India. Its products and services include buying and selling of foreign currency notes and coins, travellers cheques, travel currency cards, co-branded cards, foreign currency demand drafts, and swift/telegraphic transfer; travel insurance; specialized services; and remittance facilities. The company also provides Western Union money transfer, Money Gram, and Xpress Money; and forex services to students and corporates, as well as services to NRIs. It serves customers through a network of 16 branches in the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Gujarat, Delhi, and Maharashtra. The company was formerly known as Prithvi Softech Limited and changed its name to Prithvi Exchange (India) Limited in December 2016. The company was incorporated in 1995 and is headquartered in Chennai, India.
