OPC Energy Ltd. engages in the development, construction, operation, generation, and supply of electricity and energy in Israel. The company operates through three segments: Israel, US Renewable Energies, and US Energy Transition. It produces and supplies electricity to private customers. The company generates electricity from solar, wind, and water or waste. It operates the Rotem power plant with an installed capacity of 466 megawatts (MW); Hadera power plant with an installed capacity of 144 MW; Zomet power plant with an installed capacity of 396 MW; Sorek 2 plant with an installed capacity of up to 87 MW; and Gat power plant with an installed capacity of 75 MW, as well as on-site power generation facilities with an installed capacity of over 120 MW. The company was formerly known as IC Power Israel Ltd. and changed its name to OPC Energy Ltd. in July 2017. The company was incorporated in 2010 and is based in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. OPC Energy Ltd. was formerly a subsidiary of Kenon Holdings Ltd.
