Diageo (DGE) Price Discussion

weak US and China markets and a 50% div cut!
BUY only sub 1600.00

With prospects of lower interest rates, continued investment in large US companies, prospects of AI finding new ways to improve we have this company with wonderful brands. At a P/E of 21 People will always drink. Maybe less but that works for the big brands that Diageo owns. I am a buyer though with a dividend of 4.8% dont expect much growth short term.
For all the negative commentary, Diageo remains a solid company with global reach. I'm buying. Best value play for 3 year+
It used to be a solid company, but like many British stocks, the almighty USA is taking over. Soon, all our companies will be gone. Huge US companies will own the market in every sector. Who is helping them do it? Farage for one. Lining his own pockets.

To think Motley Fool pumped this so much. 5 yr chart is terrible.
UBS rating change Buy to Neutral and reduced its price target to GBP18.50 from GBP22.50
IMO still looking very much oversold even with the trimming forecast and resultant share price drop- looking to trim debt ratio to 2.5 by FY28 will be challenging, especially with the current sector headwinds and the looming potential for sector-wide macro headwinds
My money is on Novo and Eli
