Askari General Insurance Company Limited engages in non-life insurance business in Pakistan. It operates through five segments: Fire Insurance, Marine Insurance, Motor Insurance, Accident and Health, and Miscellaneous Insurance. The company provides insurance cover against damages caused by fire, riot and strike, explosion, earthquake, atmospheric damage, flood, and electric fluctuation and impact. It also offers coverage against cargo risk, war risk, and damages occurring in inland transit; and vehicle coverage and indemnity against third party loss. In addition, the company provides inpatient and outpatient medical coverage; and cover against burglary, loss of cash in safe and cash in transit, personal accident, money, engineering losses, fidelity guarantee, plate glass, workmen compensation, liability insurance, and other coverage. Further, it offers travel, engineering, and aviation insurance products, as well as bond insurance products, such as surety, performance, supply, retention money, mobilization advance, and bid bonds. Additionally, the company provides vehicle tracking and fleet management solutions. The company was incorporated in 1995 and is headquartered in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Askari General Insurance Company Limited is a subsidiary of Army Welfare Trust.
