Lafarge Africa Plc, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures, markets, and sells cement and other cementitious products in Nigeria. It offers aggregates, ready-mix concrete, fly-ash, and power generation products, as well as mortar and waste management solutions. The company provides cement solutions under the RoadCem, Unicem, Ashaka Cem, Watershield Cement, Elephant Cement, AshakaCem, PowerMax, CEM1, Ground Calcium Carbonate, geocycle, and Elephant Supaset brands. It also offers building and construction services. The company was formerly known as Lafarge Cement WAPCO Nigeria Plc and changed its name to Lafarge Africa Plc in July 2014. The company was incorporated in 1959 and is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. Lafarge Africa Plc is a subsidiary of Caricement BV.
