United Capital Company Profile
United Capital Plc, together with its subsidiaries, provides investment banking, portfolio management, securities trading, and trusteeship services in Nigeria. It operates through Investment Banking, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Trustees, Securities Trading, Consumer Finance, and UCEE MFB segments. The company offers issuing house, corporate investment advisory, project finance, debt restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, asset management, wealth management, and debt capital market services. It also provides trust services, such as debenture trust; bond trusteeship to corporate and sub-sovereign issuers of public debt instruments; trustees to collective investment schemes; and private and security trusts. In addition, the company offers pay day loans and consumer lending; stockbroking; and securities trading services, including receiving agents to new issues, stockbrokers to primary issues, and advisers to SMEs, as well as equity portfolio management and securities dealing services. It serves governments; micro, small, and medium scale enterprises; institutions; high net worth individuals; and other individuals. The company was formerly known as UBA Capital PLC and changed its name to United Capital Plc in December 2014. United Capital Plc was incorporated in 2002 and is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
