Touax SCA engages in the provision of operational leasing, sales, and management of standardized mobile equipment worldwide. The company operates through three segments: Freight Railcars, River Barges, and Containers. Its fleet consists of various railcars, such as intermodal railcars used to transport standard containers used for maritime transport or swap bodies; pocket wagons used to transport semi-trailers; car-carrier railcars, used to transport cars or high-capacity vehicles by rail; coil carrying railcars, which are specially designed to transport large spools of steel, coils of cable, or wire; sliding wall railcars; and hopper cars and powder railcars. As of December 31, 2024, the company owned and managed a fleet of 337,715 twenty-foot equivalent unit containers. Touax SCA was founded in 1853 and is headquartered in La Défense, France.
