It operates through Orange Fixed and Orange Internet, Orange Mobile, Renewable Energy, Orange Money, and E-Commerce segments. The company offers money transfer, payment, and financial services solution provided via an electronic account linked to a mobile number; wholesales electronic, telecommunication equipment, and device spare parts; constructs, develops, maintains fixed telecommunication network services; provides fiber to home services; and installs, operates and manages a cellular network. It also engages in the retail trade of mobile phones and accessories; retail sale and wholesale of mobile phones lines; e-shopping and e-trading activities; GSM operation; internet service provider; and development of renewable energy projects. In addition, the company furnishes, installs, maintains, engineers, and operates communication facilities for the provision of data network and internet access services, as well as manage solar farms and renewable energy projects. The company was incorporated in 1996 and is headquartered in Amman, Jordan. Jordan Telecommunications Company operates as a subsidiary of Joint Investment Telecommunications Co.
