It also provides wired and fixed wireless broadband services. The company was formerly known as GMCR, Inc. and changed its name to Globe Telecom, Inc. in August 1998. Globe Telecom, Inc. was incorporated in 1935 and is headquartered in Taguig City, the Philippines.
