Good news about the collaboration with Molpus Woodland management in the US. This will provide a million tonnes of waste wood fibre that will be turned into pellets and gain access to Carbon Credits. There is substantial government support for the Green transition that BECCs will likely get a share of. Hopefully this will soon propel its share price back to its previous highs.

Stocks likely rising on hope of the Scottish pumped hydro plans being approved. The BEIS has announced support of energy storage to facilitate more intermittent renewables such as wind so very likely both approved and financially supported. Interestingly even with UK power prices surging the wholesale price has still dipped into negative this year due to supply/demand so big money in storage facilities.

biomass technology is the near future.
Is the new 2018 CCS better than the 2011 White Rose?. . May I offer "Red Rose" as the name for the new project?. . Standing forests are the best way to sequester carbon. Wood pellets made from Southern US forests are a climate crime, not a solution. . Hey, try wind and solar power, emission free, the most resilient solution ... stranded assets will  not mean much in a dead planet
If burning wood pellets is carbon-neutral, why would Drax invest on natural gas generation?. . Natural gas, a fossil fuel known as Methane, C4H4 produced by FRACKING, is not a solution for the climate emergency.. . Why? Methane leaks are part and parcel of the extraction and transportation of natural gas.. . Escaping emissions of methane, which is 72-times more powerful than CO2 when it comes to trapping heat in the atmosphere, is a false climate solution.
If burning wood pellets is carbon-neutral, why would Drax invest on bioenergy carbon capture and storage (CCS) project at its plant in Yorkshire?
