  • Craig et all, non of the comments i place are intended to be personal, i do have much respect for my fellow investors, though on ocassions we can all get a bit excited, especially if you are trading off side. 36 yrs in investment banking, from school leaver to early retirement has tought me much one of which was keep your head in stressful situations. Best of luck to all investors…..Cineworld will become good, it may take time but 🤞🏻💪🏻

  • Fact to highlight is the cineworld as well as all other travel industries we invest on now arent in the exact shoes they had opppsed to pre pandemic level. 60p region for cineworld looks like is the consolidated region but i am not optimsitic to a point that it will recover back to £2 in the next few yesrs as debts and their finanical lost piled up etc. If we are looking at its pre pandemic record for guidance then we may be disappointed. Overall long term should gain value from current price thou.

  • Craig, Then you must be one of “elite” in the world who can avoid the need to follow the protocols for lockdown, those who truly believe the whole pandemic thing is and has been made up? Again, cinemas will continue to be a place for entertainment, regardless of Netflix and other streaming services. Airline travel, do you not consider that also to be a place where paranoia will prevail, certainly cannot maintain 2m social distancing! Personally, I sold out of IAG at the highs and IMO cannot see that along with other airlines fully recovering to pre-pandemic levels. Staycations seem to have opened up new opportunity for many families, I prefer to travel abroad, and maybe that will hurt airlines going forward. Let’s park this conversation for the time being and pick up again post winter or next results announcment, do you concur? In the meantime,

    • Nicholas, your comments and views are a genuine cbreath of fresh air" and miles more informative than, the rross on here... I wish you well and good luck with your INVESTMENTS.
      1
  • Nicholas, I appreciate your candid view and I am definitely not and have never been in lockdown (hate every thing about it) but as a consumer, it just doesn't look appealing or cost efficient.... with paranoia and people being over cautious when someone is withing 5feet of them, I just don't see that it's an enjoyable experience... but I hope I am wrong for all those who HOLD this share...I owned them earlier in the pandemic and sold out at a massive profit, the saw them drop to 15p in the 3rd lockdown...so unless it returns to that level...I'll stick with Oil and travel companies waiting for the upturn.....

    • Do you comment on every stock you have no investment in? Maybe you should get out more. Maybe go and see a film in the cinema or something.

  • Craig, with respect you seriously do not have a clue on this stock, and I am saying that respectfully. Changing habits and paronoia, so are shopping centre etc empty, “NO”. Cinemas follow social distance rules, not all seats will have bums on, maintaining that distance. People/families want to get out and cinemas are and will continue to be a focus for entertainment, popcorn, crisps included. You need to get out or are you still in lockdown mode….

    • No shorting, just absolutely see no value in this company or what they have to offer, with Netflix, changing habits, paranoia being close to people maybe the day of paying £8.50 plus to listen to people eat crisps and popcorn for 2 hours is OVER SELL... Down to 50p.

            • Whers the confidence, 007 has just smashed box office takings, something we have not heard for along time. Joe public wants to get out and cinemas are in focus, autumn/winter is ideal for increase takings. Be positive ladies & gentlemen
