Its portfolio of power projects is based on coal, gas, hydro, wind, and solar energy. The company owns and operates Sasan ultra mega power project, a coal-based power plant with a capacity of 3,960 megawatts; Rosa coal-based power project, with a capacity of 1,200; Samalkot power project, a gas-based power plant; a gas-based power plant; concentrated solar power project, a solar thermal installations with a capacity of 100 megawatts; Wind power project with a capacity of 100 megawatts; Renewable energy projects, a renewable energy portfolio through large-scale solar and battery energy storage projects; and Ultra Mega power project, a coal-based power plant with a capacity of 3,960 megawatts. Reliance Power Limited was incorporated in 1995 and is based in Mumbai, India.
