Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Communication sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which rose 4.37% or 207.00 points to trade at 4,940.00 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) added 3.94% or 106.00 points to end at 2,796.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was up 3.71% or 32.00 points to 894.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which lost 5.74% or 2,070.00 points to trade at 34,000.00 in late trade. Nova (TASE:NVMI) declined 2.50% or 2,060.00 points to end at 80,250.00 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:FIBI) shed 2.41% or 370.00 points to 14,980.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 247 to 183 and 109 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.17% or 2.37 to $77.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.61% or 2.04 to hit $80.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 6.40 to trade at $2,552.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.18% to 3.68, while EUR/ILS fell 0.33% to 4.11.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 100.63.
