Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 5.84% or 4,720.00 points to trade at 85,560.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) added 1.67% or 15.00 points to end at 913.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was up 1.53% or 460.00 points to 30,450.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which lost 3.34% or 164.00 points to trade at 4,751.00 in late trade. Harel (TASE:HARL) declined 2.65% or 99.00 points to end at 3,641.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) shed 2.55% or 40.00 points to 1,527.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 232 to 228 and 80 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 5.43% or 3.90 to $67.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 5.32% or 4.02 to hit $71.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 1.35 to trade at $2,753.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 1.20% to 3.73, while EUR/ILS fell 1.19% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 104.13.
