        • When it looks like a dog, smells like a dog and acts like a dog isn't it time to admit that it's a dog?

          • As much as we are all amateur investors, some of us appear to be more amateur than others.

          • Once again, the comments on here are as comical as ever. Yes, market conditions are far from ideal .... it will pass. Remember this is not a silly start up, it's a prestigious long standing organisation and a critical supplier to the global aviation and military industry. So, as I'm British, load up, keep calm, and carry on 🇬🇧 ✌️

            • so you brought at 120 so lost half your money? Blimey let me know what else you are investing in so I can avoid it as well.

            • you do know shares go up and down with market conditions do you? And with just about all shares you get highs and lows. We all buy shares and stocks based upon the best available knowledge hoping for a gain, but aware there could be a loss too. It's a risk we accept, and we need discipline and patience to get the gains we hope to achieve. RR will get there, yes things are rough but I'm envisaging a 5 to 10 year hold based on the new engines and nuclear reactor development. If you don't like the current circumstances, just don't buy RR, simple.

            • if you dont know what averaging down is maybe you shouldnt be investing at all. i had 16k shares at 60p sold at 141 this is round 2 for me ;)

            • From 150 to 65, it it’s not freefall, what is it?

            • Stephen Crowethose who voted this down, enlighten me as to what you would call it if it isn’t freefall?

          • Looking very cheap in $ terms

            • load the boat and prepare to hold for a while
              0
          • It's all over for this company. Huge debt and rising interest rates mean it's just hanging on for the inevitable statement 'sadly RR has been placed into administration as it is no longer able to service it's debts'. I'm selling and stuff the prospect of jam tomorrow - it's a fantasy
            15
            • Proof?
              0
            • Unlikely. The UK Government with their golden share holding won't let this company go under. They are too big and too critical a supplier to aerospace and military industries. It would be like the US Government letting Boeing out of business... unlikely.

            • RR order book is full on every single division, working flat out. work 60 hours last week but shares definately not reflect the amount of work we doing in RR…
              2
          • Maybe I am a ***or simply a nostalgic, but I am certain that RR will recover. I did not buy Apple shares in 1996 despite the fact that I was an early fan. What a mistake.

            • man, bet you are kicking yourself for that!
