Comment Guidelines

We encourage you to use comments to engage with users, share your perspective and ask questions of authors and each other. However, in order to maintain the high level of discourse we’ve all come to value and expect, please keep the following criteria in mind:

  • Enrich the conversation
  • Stay focused and on track. Only post material that’s relevant to the topic being discussed.
  • Be respectful. Even negative opinions can be framed positively and diplomatically.
  •  Use standard writing style. Include punctuation and upper and lower cases.
  • NOTE: Spam and/or promotional messages and links within a comment will be removed
  • Avoid profanity, slander or personal attacks directed at an author or another user.
  • Don’t Monopolize the Conversation. We appreciate passion and conviction, but we also believe strongly in giving everyone a chance to air their thoughts. Therefore, in addition to civil interaction, we expect commenters to offer their opinions succinctly and thoughtfully, but not so repeatedly that others are annoyed or offended. If we receive complaints about individuals who take over a thread or forum, we reserve the right to ban them from the site, without recourse.
  • Only English comments will be allowed.

It is suicide to de-list from LSE. Just mothball Russian mines carry on as is. Can't see an issue ...

structure in order to maximise shareholder value.Further to the announcement on 22 September 2022, the Company has progressed the evaluation of a potential re-domiciliation of the parent company, Polymetal International plc, to jurisdiction deemed to be “friendly” by the Russian Federation, a move which could unblock the ability to execute further corporate actions. What does that exactly mean? If the stock listing were to move, what price the shares get sold ?

Collapse due to possible share listing move from LSE. Won't happen for a year at least.

Indeed. It's not a total surprise, has been talk of a potential delisting for some time. I didn't expect such a drop luckily I did take my profit and reduced my holding earlier in the week.

Also possible talk of reinstating the dividends in the update. Selling majority of the built up inventory, positive free cash flow. Net debt reducing and update on relocation of the company to a “friendly country” possibly Kazakhstan, then news of any possible split of the assets
