CPS Technologies Corp. (CPS) provides advanced material solutions for the transportation, automotive, energy, computing/Internet, telecommunications, aerospace and defense markets. Its primary material solution is metal matrix composites (MMCs), which is a class of materials consisting of a combination of metals and ceramics. It designs, manufactures and sells custom MMC components for the performance and reliability of systems in the end markets. Its products and intellectual property include critical pieces of the technology puzzle for electric trains and subway cars, wind turbines, hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles, the smart electric grid, 5G infrastructure, and others. Its products are used in high-speed trains, hybrid and electric cars, wind-turbines for electricity generation, routers, switches and fiber optic components for the Internet backbone.
