Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.57%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 1.60% or 1.80 points to trade at 113.95 at the close. ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 0.95% or 5.60 points to end at 597.60 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) was up 0.94% or 0.07 points to 7.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which lost 3.74% or 13.00 points to trade at 334.60 in late trade. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) declined 2.49% or 5.00 points to end at 196.00 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) shed 2.16% or 3.80 points to 170.10.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 477 to 281 and 70 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 4.39% or 3.39 to $73.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 4.37% or 3.54 to hit $77.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.23% or 32.80 to trade at $2,633.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.11% to 11.36, while USD/SEK rose 0.14% to 10.36.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 102.31.
