Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Healthcare and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.36% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa), which rose 0.77% or 1.15 points to trade at 151.00 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 0.75% or 10.50 points to end at 1,409.00 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was up 0.69% or 4.20 points to 611.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which lost 4.02% or 1.90 points to trade at 45.60 in late trade. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) declined 3.70% or 3.10 points to end at 81.30 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) shed 3.31% or 0.14 points to 4.03.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 484 to 291 and 77 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.09% or 0.06 to $69.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $73.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.99% or 26.05 to trade at $2,657.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.46% to 11.61, while USD/SEK rose 1.15% to 11.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 106.76.
