Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 2.26% or 3.90 points to trade at 173.90 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 0.76% or 0.58 points to end at 77.04 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) was up 0.50% or 0.75 points to 151.05 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which lost 1.99% or 0.57 points to trade at 28.04 in late trade. Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) declined 1.28% or 1.45 points to end at 112.15 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) shed 1.26% or 1.90 points to 148.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 450 to 310 and 87 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.15% or 2.34 to $76.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 3.00% or 2.34 to hit $80.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 2.75 to trade at $2,665.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.20% to 11.37, while USD/SEK fell 0.07% to 10.36.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 102.22.
