Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which rose 2.18% or 6.80 points to trade at 318.60 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) added 2.03% or 1.80 points to end at 89.10 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was up 1.83% or 10.60 points to 589.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which lost 5.29% or 8.10 points to trade at 144.20 in late trade. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) declined 3.29% or 3.70 points to end at 107.30 and NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) shed 1.71% or 0.80 points to 45.90.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 477 to 290 and 85 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.42% or 1.11 to $77.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.53% or 1.26 to hit $81.11 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.30% or 30.70 to trade at $2,384.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.02% to 11.74, while USD/SEK fell 0.14% to 10.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 104.04.
