Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Insurance and Financial Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.91%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which rose 9.95% or 9.70 points to trade at 107.20 at the close. Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) added 6.28% or 2.55 points to end at 43.15 and Almajed 4 Oud Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4165) was up 5.82% or 9.20 points to 167.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which lost 7.89% or 0.03 points to trade at 0.35 in late trade. International Company for Water and Power Projects (TADAWUL:2082) declined 7.35% or 35.00 points to end at 441.00 and Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:1820) shed 5.07% or 0.15 points to 2.81.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 169 to 118 and 30 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.06% or 1.56 to $74.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.89% or 1.49 to hit $77.55 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.27% or 7.30 to trade at $2,669.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.23% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 102.99.
