Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Real Estate and Beverage sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Disway SA (CS:DWY), which rose 9.67% or 29.00 points to trade at 329.00 at the close. Oulmes (CS:OULM) added 5.98% or 72 points to end at 1277 and Douja Prom Addoha (CS:ADH) was up 3.17% or 0.40 points to 13.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included BMCI (CS:BMCI), which lost 5.48% or 40 points to trade at 690 in late trade. BCP (CS:BCP) declined 1.04% or 2.80 points to end at 266.20 and AFMA SA (CS:AFM) shed 1.01% or 10 points to 980.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 12 to 8 and 5 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.36% or 0.23 to $63.37 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.54% or 0.39 to hit $73.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1230.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.09% to 10.8350, while USD/MAD fell 0.21% to 9.5033.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 96.25.
