Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 1.76%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which rose 4.12% or 202.00 points to trade at 5,106.00 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 0.90% or 57.00 points to end at 6,357.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) was up 0.09% or 40.00 points to 43,980.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which lost 4.46% or 202.00 points to trade at 4,330.00 in late trade. Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:DSCT) declined 4.01% or 78.00 points to end at 1,867.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) shed 3.71% or 2,310.00 points to 59,990.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 340 to 108 and 91 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.59% or 0.48 to $81.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.67% or 0.57 to hit $85.64 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.27% or 29.90 to trade at $2,376.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.37% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS rose 0.14% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 105.11.
