Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Real Estate and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 1.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 2.55% or 1,720.00 points to trade at 69,290.00 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) added 1.81% or 117.00 points to end at 6,567.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was up 1.29% or 370.00 points to 29,120.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which lost 6.09% or 890.00 points to trade at 13,720.00 in late trade. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) declined 5.24% or 1,990.00 points to end at 36,010.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) shed 4.99% or 237.00 points to 4,513.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 313 to 131 and 95 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.99% or 0.77 to $77.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.69% or 0.56 to hit $80.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.82% or 20.25 to trade at $2,493.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.57% to 3.79, while EUR/ILS rose 0.26% to 4.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 104.10.
