Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Insurance and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE), which rose 4.35% or 37.80 points to trade at 906.20 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) added 4.18% or 59.00 points to end at 1,469.00 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) was up 4.13% or 212.00 points to 5,347.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which lost 1.74% or 1,480.00 points to trade at 83,680.00 in late trade. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 1.55% or 99.00 points to end at 6,296.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) shed 1.05% or 50.00 points to 4,707.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 287 to 183 and 69 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.88% or 0.69 to $78.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.77% or 0.64 to hit $83.26 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 10.50 to trade at $2,338.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.08% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS rose 0.21% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 105.17.
