Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.49%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Melisron (TASE:MLSR), which rose 2.97% or 860.00 points to trade at 29,860.00 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) added 2.84% or 2,450.00 points to end at 88,700.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was up 2.75% or 50.00 points to 1,871.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO), which lost 4.38% or 3,950.00 points to trade at 86,130.00 in late trade. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 3.16% or 53.00 points to end at 1,625.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) shed 2.32% or 670.00 points to 28,240.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 249 to 216 and 75 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.26% or 0.90 to $72.37 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.13% or 0.85 to hit $75.93 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 5.15 to trade at $2,751.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.07% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS rose 0.17% to 4.08.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 103.57.
