Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.21%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which rose 2.32% or 900.00 points to trade at 39,660.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:ENRG) added 2.09% or 27.00 points to end at 1,317.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 1.98% or 1,420.00 points to 72,970.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which lost 3.48% or 1,000.00 points to trade at 27,720.00 in late trade. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 3.22% or 150.00 points to end at 4,510.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) shed 1.91% or 550.00 points to 28,280.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 220 to 200 and 119 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.21% or 0.15 to $69.81 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.33% or 0.24 to hit $73.46 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 5.60 to trade at $2,598.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was unchanged 0.01% to 3.78, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.05% to 4.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 100.59.
