Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 1.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Pt (JK:SAMF), which rose 570.83% or 685.00 points to trade at 805.00 at the close. Jaya Sukses Makmur Sentosa Tbk PT (JK:RISE) added 507.36% or 827.00 points to end at 990.00 and Asuransi Multi Artha Guna Tbk PT (JK:AMAG) was up 261.90% or 275.00 points to 380.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Metro Realty Tbk (JK:MTSM), which lost 98.32% or 4,916.00 points to trade at 84.00 in late trade. Millennium Pharmacon International (JK:SDPC) declined 97.32% or 4,866.00 points to end at 134.00 and Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (JK:PSDN) gained 1.19% or 1.00 points to 85.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 439 to 235 and 161 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.05% or 0.04 to $73.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.83% or 0.64 to hit $76.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.37% or 9.30 to trade at $2,536.90 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.03% to 15,543.30, while AUD/IDR fell 0.62% to 10,488.77.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 101.64.
