Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.98%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK), which rose 33.33% or 1.00 points to trade at 4.00 at the close. Trust Finance Indonesia Tbk (JK:TRUS) added 25.00% or 155.00 points to end at 775.00 and Sunson Textile Manufacturer (JK:SSTM) was up 24.56% or 56.00 points to 284.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Satria Antaran Prima Tbk PT (JK:SAPX), which lost 24.90% or 600.00 points to trade at 1,810.00 in late trade. Quantum Clovera Investama Tbk PT (JK:KREN) declined 16.67% or 1.00 points to end at 5.00 and Andira Agro Tbk PT (JK:ANDI) shed 14.29% or 1.00 points to 6.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 397 to 224 and 213 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.33% or 0.23 to $70.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.42% or 0.31 to hit $73.83 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 2.89 to trade at $2,753.81 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.04% to 15,953.00, while AUD/IDR rose 0.68% to 10,228.35.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 106.25.
