Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Infrastructure and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Ristia Bintang Mahkotasejati (JK:RBMS), which rose 34.29% or 36 points to trade at 141 at the close. Mahaka Media Tbk (JK:ABBA) added 34.00% or 17 points to end at 67 and Andira Agro Tbk PT (JK:ANDI) was up 18.13% or 155 points to 1010 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bukit Uluwatu Villa Tbk (JK:BUVA), which lost 24.50% or 49 points to trade at 151 in late trade. Kioson Komersial Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:KIOS) declined 17.87% or 620 points to end at 2850 and PT Cahayasakti Investindo Sukses Tbk (JK:CSIS) shed 14.43% or 56 points to 332.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 214 to 163 and 119 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.62% or 0.42 to $68.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.70% or 0.54 to hit $77.37 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1199.90 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.70% to 14870.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.02% to 10598.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 95.28.
