Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk PT (JK:JAST), which rose 33.33% or 19.00 points to trade at 76.00 at the close. Agro Yasa Lestari PT Tbk (JK:AYLS) added 32.38% or 34.00 points to end at 139.00 and Golden Flower Tbk PT (JK:POLU) was up 25.00% or 355.00 points to 1,775.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK), which lost 25.00% or 1.00 points to trade at 3.00 in late trade. Dua Putra Utama Makmur PT (JK:DPUM) declined 18.52% or 15.00 points to end at 66.00 and Green Power Group Tbk PT (JK:LABA) shed 16.00% or 56.00 points to 294.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 313 to 282 and 233 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.77% or 0.53 to $69.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.68% or 0.49 to hit $72.81 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 5.19 to trade at $2,633.39 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.19% to 16,201.50, while AUD/IDR fell 0.35% to 10,116.52.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 107.88.
