Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS), which rose 29.63% or 24.00 points to trade at 105.00 at the close. Astrindo Nusantara Infrasruktur Tbk PT (JK:BIPI) added 26.76% or 19.00 points to end at 90.00 and Sona Topas Tourism Industry (JK:SONA) was up 24.84% or 770.00 points to 3,870.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK), which lost 25.00% or 1.00 points to trade at 3.00 in late trade. Ulima Nitra PT (JK:UNIQ) declined 24.49% or 180.00 points to end at 555.00 and Modern Internasional Tbk (JK:MDRN) shed 12.50% or 1.00 points to 7.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 345 to 260 and 233 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.84% or 0.60 to $71.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.78% or 0.59 to hit $75.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 11.35 to trade at $2,771.15 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.36% to 15,618.00, while AUD/IDR rose 0.05% to 10,404.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 104.17.
