Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 1.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were DCI Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:DCII), which rose 9,304.76% or 39,080.00 points to trade at 39,500.00 at the close. Bisi International Tbk (JK:BISI) added 745.00% or 1,490.00 points to end at 1,690.00 and Bank Woori Saudara Indonesia 1906 (JK:SDRA) was up 313.91% or 361.00 points to 476.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Multipolar Tbk (JK:MLPL), which unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to trade at 55.00 in late trade. Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI) declined 99.43% or 5,369.00 points to end at 31.00 and Quantum Clovera Investama Tbk PT (JK:KREN) shed 97.67% or 210.00 points to 5.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 354 to 323 and 160 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.41% or 0.33 to $81.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.26% or 0.22 to hit $85.30 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 12.45 to trade at $2,472.35 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.17% to 16,168.05, while AUD/IDR rose 0.29% to 10,891.81.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 103.50.
