Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Trade and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.83%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk (JK:ETWA), which rose 34.12% or 29 points to trade at 114 at the close. PT Cahayasakti Investindo Sukses Tbk (JK:CSIS) added 24.74% or 355 points to end at 1790 and Sunson Textile Manufacturer (JK:SSTM) was up 23.19% or 96 points to 510 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Eagle High Plantations Tbk (JK:BWPT), which lost 21.62% or 48 points to trade at 174 in late trade. Jakarta Kyoei Steel Works Tbk (JK:JKSW) declined 17.71% or 17 points to end at 79 and Indorama Synthetics Tbk (JK:INDR) shed 17.30% or 640 points to 3060.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 249 to 128 and 114 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.27% or 0.19 to $71.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $77.50 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.10 to trade at $1324.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.64% to 13949.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.01% to 10601.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 92.43.
