Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.73%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (JK:PSDN), which rose 34.67% or 26.00 points to trade at 101.00 at the close. Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk PT (JK:INET) added 25.86% or 15.00 points to end at 73.00 and Mulia Boga Raya PT (JK:KEJU) was up 24.69% or 200.00 points to 1,010.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Capitalinc Investment Tbk (JK:MTFN), which lost 20.00% or 1.00 points to trade at 4.00 in late trade. Graha Andrasentra Propertindo Tbk PT (JK:JGLE) declined 16.67% or 1.00 points to end at 5.00 and Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (JK:SSIA) shed 16.36% or 220.00 points to 1,125.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 335 to 292 and 209 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.33% or 0.24 to $71.96 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.33% or 0.25 to hit $74.89 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.17% or 4.51 to trade at $2,645.51 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.85% to 16,203.40, while AUD/IDR fell 0.03% to 10,055.43.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 108.23.
