Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.62% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Chitose Internasional Tbk (JK:CINT), which rose 34.51% or 49.00 points to trade at 191.00 at the close. Pelangi Indah Canindo Tbk (JK:PICO) added 34.38% or 33.00 points to end at 129.00 and Maming Enam Sembilan Mineral Tbk PT (JK:AKSI) was up 24.79% or 60.00 points to 302.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Express Transindo Utama Tbk (JK:TAXI), which lost 20.00% or 1.00 points to trade at 4.00 in late trade. Asuransi Jiwa Sinarmas Msig PT (JK:LIFE) declined 16.60% or 1,000.00 points to end at 5,025.00 and Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI) shed 10.00% or 1.00 points to 9.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 304 to 298 and 232 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.51% or 0.35 to $69.50 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.50% or 0.36 to hit $73.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 4.50 to trade at $2,547.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.04% to 15,404.90, while AUD/IDR fell 0.12% to 10,369.17.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.17% at 100.91.
