Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Property, Basic Industry and Trade sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA), which rose 34.43% or 42 points to trade at 164 at the close. Golden Plantation Tbk (JK:GOLL) added 29.63% or 32.00 points to end at 140.00 and Ayana Land International Tbk PT (JK:NASA) was up 24.58% or 58 points to 294 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sugih Energy Tbk (JK:SUGI), which lost 33.33% or 25 points to trade at 50 in late trade. Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk PT (JK:GOLD) declined 14.17% or 85 points to end at 515 and Langgeng Makmur Industri Tbk (JK:LMPI) shed 14.07% or 28 points to 171.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 184 to 147 and 119 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.43% or 0.21 to $49.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.44% or 0.23 to hit $52.37 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.82% or 10.38 to trade at $1272.98 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.11% to 13336.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.24% to 10570.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 93.43.
