Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Trade and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Sat Nusapersada Tbk (JK:PTSN), which rose 34.46% or 51 points to trade at 199 at the close. Alumindo Light Metal Industry (JK:ALMI) added 24.77% or 54 points to end at 272 and Rimau Multi Putra Pratama (JK:CMPP) was up 24.49% or 180 points to 915 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (JK:BSSR), which lost 16.67% or 390 points to trade at 1950 in late trade. Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA) declined 10.05% or 44 points to end at 394 and Lionmesh Prima Tbk (JK:LMSH) shed 9.09% or 65 points to 650.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 165 to 155 and 126 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.35% or 0.17 to $48.99 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.46% or 0.25 to hit $54.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 5.26 to trade at $1344.26 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.26% to 13296.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.19% to 10647.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 91.86.
