Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.14%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK), which rose 33.33% or 1.00 points to trade at 4.00 at the close. Bank Artha Graha Internasional (JK:INPC) added 33.33% or 24.00 points to end at 96.00 and Perdana Karya Perkasa Tbk (JK:PKPK) was up 25.00% or 195.00 points to 975.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk PT (JK:BEBS), which lost 16.67% or 1.00 points to trade at 5.00 in late trade. Capitalinc Investment Tbk (JK:MTFN) declined 16.67% or 1.00 points to end at 5.00 and Diamond Citra Propertindo PT (JK:DADA) shed 12.50% or 1.00 points to 7.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 310 to 291 and 240 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.31% or 0.90 to $69.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.09% or 0.80 to hit $73.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 16.70 to trade at $2,746.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.23% to 15,509.75, while AUD/IDR fell 0.04% to 10,375.56.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 103.48.
