Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Mining, Trade and Infrastructure sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Alfa Energi Investama Tbk PT (JK:FIRE), which rose 24.90% or 310 points to trade at 1555 at the close. Ayana Land International Tbk PT (JK:NASA) added 24.49% or 72 points to end at 366 and Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA) was up 19.51% or 32 points to 196 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM), which lost 19.89% or 3600 points to trade at 14500 in late trade. Golden Plantation Tbk (JK:GOLL) declined 17.14% or 24.00 points to end at 116.00 and Energi Mega Persada Tbk (JK:ENRG) shed 10.26% or 12 points to 105.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 164 to 150 and 131 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.65% or 0.32 to $49.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.99% or 0.52 to hit $53.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 5.28 to trade at $1284.58 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.09% to 13336.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.28% to 10527.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 93.68.
