Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.02% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Jaya Sukses Makmur Sentosa Tbk PT (JK:RISE), which rose 504.29% or 822.00 points to trade at 985.00 at the close. Ulima Nitra PT (JK:UNIQ) added 425.42% or 502.00 points to end at 620.00 and Kimia Farma Persero Tbk (JK:KAEF) was up 270.00% or 540.00 points to 740.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lenox Pasifik Investama Tbk PT (JK:LPPS), which lost 99.31% or 8,094.00 points to trade at 56.00 in late trade. Omni Inovasi Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:TELE) declined 97.74% or 303.00 points to end at 7.00 and Himalaya Energi Perkasa Tbk PT (JK:HADE) shed 97.14% or 204.00 points to 6.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 386 to 272 and 183 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.41% or 0.28 to $69.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.39% or 0.28 to hit $72.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 14.10 to trade at $2,594.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.00% to 15,415.95, while AUD/IDR fell 0.14% to 10,348.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 100.99.
